July CSAS Monthly Meeting Date Change!
Published by Scott Donnell
I have been interested in astronomy since the 2nd grade and enjoy all aspects of theoretical and observational astronomy. I have an M.S. in Astrophysics from Penn State University and am a Space Systems Consulting Engineer by profession. In addition to my continuing efforts to help CSAS become the finest amateur astronomy organization in Colorado, I support the AAVSO by providing photometric magnitude measurements of long period variable stars and the IOTA by generating monthly predictions of asteroid occultations. I also support the NASA OSIRIS-REx asteroid sample return mission by generating photometric and astrometric measurements of selected Near Earth Objects. Originally from Wisconsin, I have called Colorado my home since 1988. View all posts by Scott Donnell
